Dough and Bench Scrapers

Nylon scrapers can be made very thin, are very strong, and are relatively heat-resistant. They're great for scraping the sides of a hot pan, and I even like to use them to scrape off stuck foods (after soaking) at the bottom of pans.

Metal choppers/scrapers are great for countertops and flat cutting boards, especially when you have dried-on foodstuffs.
