Pot Holders

It's a good idea for every kitchen to have at least one pair of mitts, a tubular holder, and a couple flat holder, to keep your hands and arms away from hot surfaces. Not only do these tools help to prevent skin burns (which can be extremely painful), but they also help prevent accidental spills and related consequences.

Try them before use, to make sure they're what you expected. Keep them easily accessible, so you'll use them. And be sure to replace damaged pan and cover handles as soon as you notice the need.
