Gravy and Fat Utensils

Fat gives lots of flavor to food, but is not always desirable to have in one's diet. Here are some tools that help to reduce, remove or clean up fat, and serve the gravy.

Fat separators are designed to draw out liquids from the bottom of the beaker. As hot hot gravy and fat mixture cools, the fat rises to the top, and the clear gravy can be served from the bottom. The fat mop's bristles easily skim fat off the top of hot broths.

Basters help you keep the roast surface moist, and flavor injectors allow you to insert juices and flavorings directly into the meat.
