Fermenting Lid for Wide Mouth Mason Jar

Fits wide-mouth jars.

The airtight gasket on the underside of the lid keeps oxygen out of the jar while the one-way valve allows carbon dioxide to escape.

Adjustable platform on the underside of the lid helps ensure that food remains submerged under brine.

Instructions:
- Twist the platform clockwise to raise it and counterclockwise to lower it.
- Adjust platform as needed to keep food fully submerged.
- The holes in the platform allow brine to drain away as you open the lid.
- Platform can remain attached to the lid or fully removed after fermentation.
