Replica of an antique mold! The original was carved by American John Conger in 1825.
This mold features a woven wicker basket, overflowing with a wide variety of berries, fruits, and flowers. Surrounding it are thistles, roses, vines, acorns and leaves. The entire piece is framed in an elaborately carved, multiple layer border. Conger's design for this mold was inspired by the poetry of the Scottish poet Robert Burns.
